Description
The ThriftyCam utilizes the OMNIVISION OG02B1B B&W CMOS 2 Megapixel (1600x1304) Global Shutter Image Sensor with OmniPixel®3-GS Technology. At full resolution, the camera will present 60 frames per second over USB 3.0.
For maximum performance, we recommend using it with a USB 3.0 or higher port on a coprocessor such as an Orange Pi 5 (2 per SBC) or a Jetson Orion module (up to 5 per SBC). The Camera comes with a USB C connector and is fully UVC-compliant at USB 3.0.
The ThriftyCam comes in a machined aluminum case with a USB 3.0 A to C cable. The case is compatible with the Thrifty Locking USB C to C cables. Additional USB A to locking C options are coming soon.
The Case allows for easy mounting with two tapped 10-32 holes spaced 2" apart.
The default lens is a 55 degree lens with an M12 mount. Additional lenses are for sale in the ThriftyCam Lens Kit. Additional lens information can be found on our docs page at this link or below in the PDF Viewer.
Weight with case and lens cap is 0.128 lb.
All ThriftyCams undergo final assembly and QC testing in Lapeer, Michigan.
